Sweet Hospitality
A hospitality area is perhaps the one place in your booth where visitors can truly kick back and relax. However, this locale needs to be inviting, comfortable, and aesthetically attractive enough to make people not only finish their drinks and nibbles but also hang out and talk shop. So here are six in-booth hospitality spaces that pair practical elements with delicious design. By Linda Armstrong

Hole in the Wall
Exhibitor: Edem CJSC
Show: MosBuild
Design: Studio Dega LLC, St. Petersburg, Russia, 7-812-331-74-27, www.studiodega.ru

Framed by a modular exhibit system, this interior lounge for Ukrainian wallpaper provider Edem CJSC served up cutting-edge innovation and sophistication courtesy of an open environment decorated with muted gray, white, and wood-tone materials and finishes.

Players Club
Exhibitor: Facebook Inc.
Show: Gamescom
Design: The Trade Group Inc., Carrollton, TX, 214-343-2000, www.tradegroup.com

Looking very much like a hip coffee lounge or trendy pub, the hospitality area for the Facebook Gaming brand was both stylish and inviting. The L-shaped bar had room for nine patrons while modular furniture, soft sofas, and bistro-height tables and chairs completed the scene.

Green Room
Exhibitor: Monahan Products LLC (dba UppaBaby)
Show: Kind + Jugend
Design: Pinnacle Exhibits Inc., Portland, OR, 503-844-4848, www.pinnacle-exhibits.com

The epitome of cozy, this bistro for the UppaBaby brand employed neutral tones and contemporary furniture. However, it was the suspended pendant lights and brilliant art installation, which comprised a cutout logo floating in front of a wall of live plant material, that turned up the theatrics.

Red Square
Exhibitor: Intelerad Medical Systems Inc.
Show: Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting
Design: EDE Corp., Chicago, 773-585-5600, www.edecorp.com

Tasked with crafting an exhibit that was architecturally interesting yet offered a homey interior, designers settled on warm materials and woods that carried over into this in-booth hideaway. Pops of red and black brand colors added a cinematic touch to this practical space.

White House
Exhibitor: Modul International Exhibition Design Systems GmbH
Show: EuroShop
Design: Ueberholz GmbH, Wuppertal, Germany, 49-202-280-96-0, www.ueberholz.de

Situated on the exhibit's second level, this contemporary space was a quiet respite from the hectic show floor below. Topped by a fabric-scrim ceiling, the oblong expanse provided a serene ambiance, an ample seating and dining area, and a glorious view of the exhibit hall.

The Bar Scene
Exhibitor: Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG
Show: Ambiente
Design: Raumtechnik Messebau & Event Services GmbH, Ostfildern, Germany, 49-7158-9874-0, www.raumtechnik.com

A dramatic pink and purple bar took center stage in this exhibit for German tableware manufacturer Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG. Meanwhile, myriad tables and chairs played second fiddle, providing the function while the bar offered the flair.
