High Minded
Raise the level of your show-floor presence and drive attendee traffic to your booth with the budget-friendly Hanging Trade Show Banners from Post-Up Stand. Available in two models (a 7-foot-square by 3.5-foot-high version and a 10-by-3-foot undulating wave), these overhead elements feature an exhibitor's choice of single- or double-sided custom, tension-fabric, dye-sublimated graphics; easy-to-assemble aluminum frame components; and the necessary rigging hardware all in one convenient package. Replacement hardware can be ordered separately, and a sturdy canvas carrying bag is included. Additional styles are expected to be released later this year. Safe Bet
Protecting customer information is a hot topic, and trade show marketers face unique challenges when it comes to cybersecurity and privacy concerns, e.g., the European Union's sweeping General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). After all, most exhibiting companies collect and store customer data on mobile devices, which present a greater risk for breaches, mismanagement, and legal noncompliance. That's why High Performance Software Ltd. (dba Zuant) released the Zuant Vault, a secure, cloud-based "datastore" that complements the company's eponymous lead-capture app. Boasting a suite of administrator- and customer-friendly features, including a one-time consent process that records a prospect's opt-in status, automatic merging of duplicate contacts, and controlled access to client data, the Zuant Vault helps companies maintain the highest security standards while "in the field." Get the Skinny
Finding unobtrusive ways to supply power to electrical elements positioned throughout a booth space is a frustrating pain point for exhibit managers. That's why Display Supply & Lighting Inc. has released the Specialty Flat Cable Extension Cord. Available in 15-, 25-, 50-, 75-, and 100-foot lengths, the cords are made from heavily insulated SPT-3 cabling and feature slender male and female plugs that allow them to be threaded through the 30mm holes located in the frames of many portable and modular exhibit systems – a detail that enables exhibitors to easily run power through the walls of their stands. In addition, the female end boasts an internal LED power indicator and is designed to be plugged into from the top rather than the side to accommodate close confines.
