Power Player
Face-to-face marketing professionals frequently have to hold impromptu, on-the-road meetings in locations lacking proper audiovisual equipment. Rather than crowd everyone around a laptop to view a photo slideshow or presentation in a hotel room, opt for the AN100 DLP Pocket Projector from Global Aiptek Corp. Measuring less than 5 inches square and 1 inch thick, the AN100 features Wi-Fi connectivity, a suite of input ports, and compatibility with Miracast and AirPlay to mirror content on most Android and iOS devices. An ARM Cortex A7 quad core processor powers the Android 4.4 Kit-Kat operating system, which is capable of running any number of apps found in the Google Play store. The 100-lumens projector can cast up to a 120-inch image in high definition and sharp, vivid colors, while a rechargeable battery supports up to 80 minutes of continuous projection. Work it Out
Exhibit and event managers are accustomed to having more than a few balls in the air, and WorkTrip from Switch Four LLC (dba WorkTrip) is designed to help these multitasking masters stay on top of it all. This Software as a Service (SaaS) system serves as a hub for organizing the deluge of documents and information involved in staging corporate events and attending trade shows, including travel reservations, agendas, schedules, contracts, expenses, and more. Changes to documents and event details are reflected in real time across all devices (e.g., personal computers, smartphones, and tablets), and users can send push notifications to alert stakeholders of important updates, such as a last-minute change of venue. Photo Finish
Offering booth visitors a memorable takeaway – while also gathering valuable lead data – is a cinch with the Ritratto Photo Booth, available for purchase or rental from The Trade Group. This 50-pound unit sets up in minutes and comprises a skirted tripod stand and a round faceplate with an integrated iPad Pro and adjustable LED ring light. Attendees use a simple touchscreen interface to input their contact information and, if an exhibitor so chooses, answer lead-qualifying questions or complete a survey before posing for their photo. The images are then sent directly to attendees via text or email to share on their social networks. For exhibitors, additional features include green-screen and GIF capabilities; branded vinyl graphics for the faceplate; and custom templates, overlays, and hashtags on all photos.
