CEIR Releases New Guru Report from Leading Digital Strategist
6/4/2015
The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announces the release of its latest Guru report, Separating Signal from the Noise – How to Make Your Emails Better.

Written by leading digital strategist, author and speaker Jason Falls, this report provides practical advice on how to improve results of exhibitor email marketing campaigns.

"CEIR's Guru Report Series aims to offer exhibitors practical advice to help them succeed with their exhibition efforts," says CEIR President and CEO Brian Casey, CEM. "CEIR research consistently points to the staying power of email as an effective marketing vehicle for exhibitors. Though the question is, how can exhibitors maximize the success of using this channel? This article gives the reader concrete ways to do this. And best of all, Jason's writing style is fun, it is well worth the read!"

The author, a successful digital marketer is passionate about his trade and the email medium. In the report, Falls notes: "If anyone tells you that email is dead, find a polite way to tell them to take a long walk off a short pier. Email is not only not dead it is still the most effective way to get a message to an audience."

Separating Signal from the Noise – How to Make Your Emails Better discusses current day recommendations on how to best use email for marketing. Falls advocates throwing the 'rules' away in favor of testing to achieve optimum results. He details a no-nonsense way to evaluate and improve email content as well as the value of using marketing automation to enhance the personalization of email messages. Using his fun and irreverent style, Falls entertains the reader while simultaneously giving them a lot to think about, real-world examples of email approaches that have generated successful outcomes.
