Streamlined Setup
Since time is money, T3 Affinity is trying to streamline the booth setup process as much as possible with the Tecna Display Limited, a portable display system that is as sophisticated as it is simple. Using modular aluminum and plastic frames, the product integrates a wide array of beam lengths and accessory fittings to create everything from exhibit walls and towers to counters and panels. Plus users can outfit these components with optional shelves, monitor holders, graphic fittings, and more. The system uses a patented twisting lock to join components, and beam segments can be designed to support any kind of graphic panels for the ultimate in system versatility. Frame posts, which are 50 millimeters in diameter, assemble without tools and come in lengths up to 8 feet. Contact: T3 Affinity, London, 02-088-034469, www.t3affinity.com
Mobile Marketing
Collecting attendee information just got faster thanks to Zuant Mobile Capture. The new app incorporates optical character recognition and ultra-fast business-card scanning to create a quick and accurate user interface. The app operates in online and offline modes, making it a godsend for exhibitors without Wi-Fi. In addition to easily collecting contact information, the app can gather additional data needed to process leads, and information can be transferred into most customer relationship management (CRM) platforms for prompt use by salespeople. A New Dimension
Create a virtual 3-D experience sans glasses and headgear with Venture, an interactive software environment from EnVu LLC that tracks the movements of anyone in front of the screen and uses those movements to walk them into any virtual setting you can dream up. The product uses any flatscreen monitor or video wall –ranging from a 55-inch TV to a 10-foot seamless array – along with EnVu's hardware and software to create an active zone in front of the display where movements are tracked. When idle, the virtual scene on the display slowly pans back and forth, but when someone enters the active zone, even if they are just walking by, the scene tracks with their movements. Attendees who stop and engage with the experience can navigate effortlessly through changing scenes and interactive elements just by moving their bodies, allowing exhibitors to artfully and whimsically embed product information or branding messages inside an environment of their own making.
