Destinations International Announces Partnership with the New York International Travel Show

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Destinations International, the world’s largest resource for official destination organizations and convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs), announced a partnership with the New York International Travel Show (ITS). ITS is a world-class travel industry show where hundreds of destinations, tour operators, airlines and cruise lines exhibit and meet with a wide selection of travel buyers, in one location. ITS 2023 takes place at the Javits Convention Center, October 26-28, 2023. Don Welsh, President and CEO, Destinations International explained that “We are excited to partner with the International Travel Show to help create a unique opportunity for our members to meet multiple markets at one time to strengthen transaction opportunities in an efficient and cost-effective format. ITS2023 participants from Destinations International will benefit from best-in-class programming, a global exhibitor base and the opportunity to set appointments with all attendees.” Each day of ITS2023 will feature Conference Sessions, Exhibition Hall Booths and Featured Events dedicated to a specific audience. Thursday, October 26 will be devoted to Meetings and Event Planners; Friday, October 27 has been created for Travel and Tourism Professionals; Saturday, October 28 consumers will be able to visit hundreds of travel exhibitors and attend presentations to gain valuable information on travel planning and trends by formidable travel experts. “ITS2023 is a new type of travel event where destinations, tour operators and transportation providers such as airlines and cruise lines can exhibit all three days and meet with a wide selection of travel buyers on each day, in one location,” said Paul Muir, president of ITS2023. “We’ve created an efficient and cost-effective way for travel businesses to exhibit, and, through new technology, increase audience cultivation and customer acquisition.” Other industry sponsors of ITS2023 include: ATA (African Tourism Association), ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association), FTA (Family Travel Association), IATA International Air Transport Association), PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association), SKAL, Tourism Cares, USTOA (U.S. Tour Operators Association) plus others. Reflecting a new emphasis on Meetings and Event Planners, the following organizations will also sponsor ITS2023: PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association), IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events).
