AmpliVox Recaps 2021 Milestones and Innovations

NORTHBROOK, IL - In 2021, a year strongly shaped by fighting the world wide pandemic, AmpliVox Sound Systems nonetheless was able to achieve major milestones and continue its track record of aggressive product innovation. The milestones included a Declaration of Values; contributions of products as well as fund-raising for charitable and civic organization; and new state-of-the-art PA systems, lecterns and multimedia furniture.

“AmpliVox believes we are much more than just a business,” said Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO. “We are an integral part of the community where we’re located, To us, that means supporting local and national civic and charitable causes through product donations and fundraising. We feel so strongly about this that we even created a special brand, AmpliVox Cares.”

Here is a summary of highlights for AmpliVox new products and activities for 2021: January
  • AmpliVox’s Declaration of Values for 2021 included a pledge “to continue to uphold the highest standards in product, service, and community service, as we have done for nearly 70 years.”
  • Introduced the S1078 Megaphone Wall Bracket for AmpliVox Mity-Meg Megaphones, freeing up a customer’s shelf space and providing immediate access to a megaphone in emergencies.
February
  • Commemorated Black History Month
  • Celebrated the success of Northwestern University football coach Pat Fitzgerald. (NU is close to AmpliVox headquarters in Northbrook, IL)
March
  • Rolled out the new Capri Lectern, with a sleek curved design.
April
  • Rolled out the Crescent Digital Adjustable ADA Workstation, with programmable settings for motorized height adjustment to accommodate standing or sitting work positions.
  • Celebrated the work of Ron Bernardi, a Northbrook area businessman and community advocate. AmpliVox has donated lecterns and PA systems for many of his charitable and civic activities.
May
  • Supported Eye Patch Days to raise awareness of ocular melanoma.
  • Supported Midwest Young Artists Conservatory Gala 2021.
June
  • Donated a custom Pinnacle Lectern for the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Invitational.
July
  • Saluted our military with a multimedia Pinnacle Lectern in custom colors and logos for each of the service branches.
August
  • Rolled out Collegiate Multimedia Lecterns that can be made in school colors and with school logos.
September
  • Supported the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Networking Luncheon featuring Katie Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Feeding America.
October
  • Supported the North Suburban YMCA’a Community Strong Dinner Under the Stars.
  • Supported the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce’s “Mingle & Munch” fundraising event.
November
  • Created a new “AmpliVox Cares” brand to promote our many civic and charitable activities.
December
  • Celebrated the holidays with the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory’s Jazz, Choral and Orchestra students giving a free holiday concert.
