Video West, Inc. Relocates to Phoenix
2/4/2016
National audiovisual rental and staging company, Video West, Inc. moved into their new building this week just north of Sky Harbor International Airport at 1050 North 52nd Street, in Phoenix, Arizona. Video West, Inc. started in Tucson in 1982 by Jack Waitkus to provide video and imaging solutions for the live corporate and special events industry. Since then Video West has grown to provide all audio visual elements for high definition projection, LED video walls, fiber-optic signal flow, and digital concert sound and lighting for some of the largest events in the world. Ongoing and recent projects include Super Bowl 50, the White House, NATO, Porsche, Volvo, Pope Francis’ visit to the United States and local organizations Arizona State University, the Arizona Dental Association, and American Express. Video West president Jack Waitkus reflects on his company’s growth that prompted the earlier-than-anticipated move. “Since our last move in 2003 we have doubled our number of employees and significantly increased our equipment inventory, this current move is definitely overdue.” General Manager and co-owner Aaron Feller expands on some major enhancements with the Phoenix location. “Our business is focused on customer satisfaction by making hard decisions easy. Our high-end equipment solutions provide comfortable flexibility in any event application and this new building is an extension of that comfort.” The new 40,000 square foot building will double the size of their previous operation and allow for expedited shipping and receiving capabilities, additional office space for their growing workforce, and a 2,000 square foot state-of-the-art demo room. Previously based in Tempe, Video West, Inc. is privately owned and employs 65 staff. A formal ribbon-cutting with the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce will be announced in the coming weeks.
