The DEI Imperative: Create Events and Experiences That are Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for events are no longer a nice to have - they are a must. In this session we'll explore a range of approaches to ensure that all target audiences get value out of participating in your events and experiences. Topics and real-world examples will highlight:
 •  The language of DEI: understanding the terminology so you can communicate effectively about it
 •  Establishing DEI objectives for your event/experience
 •  Leveraging diverse teams to create and produce the event
 •  DEI-focused attendee experience strategies, across physical, virtual and hybrid
 •  Attracting diverse audiences and making sure no one feels excluded
 •  Making the tough choices: key considerations about how (and how much) to invest in this area
 •  Measuring DEI results
CTSM Candidates with 5 or more years of experience may take this session in place of certain five-digit required sessions, with prior approval.
