Recyclable metal is just one way a modular system can earn its Green badge. The Instand is built on an 80-percent recycled-aluminum frame. But the system also comes with FabriColor end caps and infill panels made of 80-percent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. Plus, the process for printing Instand's graphics uses water-soluble ultra violet inks and an infrared ink-curing system that eliminates the release of volatile organic compounds. The Instand fits into a recyclable case to travel as checked luggage.

With recyclable pillowcase graphics made from polyester stretch fabric that slide over aluminum frames, the Pulse wall system offers quick back-wall solutions with some off-the-wall optional components. Both the graphics and frames are recyclable, earning the Pulse a little Green credibility. The base model weighs about 150 pounds, but can expand up to 320 pounds with accessories such as a countertop, overhead lights, or monitor-bracket add-ons, making the Pulse a wall that can do it all. Upgrade to LEDs for a bright, low-energy alternative.

The Aero modular display system comes with four bases, each supporting an upright recyclable aluminum post that can be set to heights of 45, 64.5, and 83.5 inches. By arranging the bases at various angles, the graphics can be displayed in a straight line, zigzag, or winged form. Optional LEDs brighten the exhibit, which goes up in minutes and weighs less than 50 pounds.

Velocity Lite is a customizable solution that can ship at less than 200 pounds for a 10-by-10-foot booth. The system comprises recyclable aluminum-extrusion components and dye-sublimated fabric graphics. Optional upgrades include interlocking components such as countertops, literature racks, and monitor mounts. Overhead floodlights brighten the exhibit and can be upgraded to more energy-efficient LED lights if you choose.

Thanks to a "rounded square" design for the extrusion tubing of Expand International of America Inc.'s Media-Wall, the portable wall system is strong yet lightweight. Made of recycled aluminum and plastic connectors, the wall frame sets up in mere minutes - with no tools required - to create a mural backdrop. MediaWall's lifetime warranty means it can be reused indefinitely, and optional LED spotlights can be added to highlight your exhibit graphics at just 19 watts per unit. A soft case features wheels, making for easy transportation, and the portable wall system can be shipped as checked baggage. An optional hard carrying case converts to a presentation podium.

The Sophora 10 Horizontal Curved Display is a lightweight back-wall option that uses aluminum frames and tension fabrics made from 59-percent recycled post-industrial and post-consumer content. The result is a seamless graphic solution for a 10-by-10-foot exhibit. The 100-percent recyclable structure includes one- or two-sided EcoKnit graphics that offer 360-degree visibility. The structure can be set up tools-free thanks to Sophora's auto-locking joint design. It packs into a soft case with rigid liner, and can travel as checked luggage. And you can add PosterGarden's 18-watt LEDs for a low-energy way to brighten your booth.

Go from a 10-by-10-foot back wall to a 20-by-20-foot island with no need for tools using the Orbital Express Truss system. Made of recyclable steel and rigid plastic, the system's pieces can all be re-used and configured to form a variety of wall structures. Best of all, if a piece wears out, it can be recycled and replaced without needing to buy a whole new system. Oh, and everything - including the shipping cases - can be recycled. Optional shelves, literature racks, and monitor mounts made from the same materials add increased functionality to the exhibit structure. Consider optional upgrades such as a recyclable truss counter or podium to really set your booth apart from the competition.

While the MultiQuad system's interchangeable aluminum frames and square "Quad" graphics can be assembled in a variety of configurations, it is the system's return policy that takes Green exhibiting to a whole new level. ExpoDisplays Inc. not only buys back MultiQuad components; the company sells those gently used items to other clients or recycles the worn parts. Additionally, updating your message means simply replacing the 23-inch Quad panels. The MultiQuad components pack into 51-by-27-by-10.5-inch wheeled plastic cases that can travel as checked luggage.

Creating a cohesive booth experience from modular
systems can mean a lot of mixing and matching. Fortunately, the Ego system provides modular pieces including countertops, graphics towers, kiosks, and wall systems all made of recyclable aluminum with plastic connectors. Modules can be enhanced with monitor brackets and literature racks. Since components can be integrated with one another, Ego can expand as far as your booth space needs, from a 10-by-10-foot stand to a 30-by-30-foot exhibit.

Your back wall can take a turn for the better thanks to fixed and rotating connectors that come with the Ambidex back-wall system. With its versatility and sturdy design, Ambidex can be easily reconfigured and, with added shelves or monitor brackets, expanded to hold heavy loads - from a burly product display to an array of video monitors. The walls can be ordered in customized or curved shapes to fit any exhibit- or event-marketing need. Ambidex comes with laminate or fabric-graphic infills that are a slim 0.25-inch for one-sided walls or 0.125-inch for two-sided walls. Wall-to-wall connectors let Ambidex expand beyond a standard 10-by-10-foot back wall, offering versatility in booth design. Add-on cabinets and shelves turn the simple wall structure into a display platform.
