With a depth of a mere 2.17 inches and razor-sharp pixel pitches of 2.5 or 2.8 millimeters, the 55 P2 LED tile from Aluvision Inc. is truly at the forefront of audiovisual technology. What's more, the tiles' 19.53-inch-square dimensions mean they integrate seamlessly with Aluvision's Omni-55 frame system to create video elements of practically any size and configuration. Installation and maintenance is a cinch thanks to a magnetic alignment system, front and rear access to each unit's interior, and a proprietary, tool-less locking process for worry-free setup. Additional features include an easily interchangeable power box, a viewing angle of 140 degrees, and the option of finishing the rear side of the tile with either a hard panel or silicone-edge fabric graphic. In the Bag
One of the primary goals of distributing branded bags in a trade show exhibit or at a corporate event is to have attendees spread your marketing messages far and wide. The trouble is, not everyone wants to walk around town with a corporate-logo-adorned carryall. Enter the Fold-Up Zip-Out Cotton Tote from Bagmasters, which is sturdy enough for everyday use and compact enough for attendees to slip into their purses or messenger bags and pull out when needed. The bag resembles a slim wallet when not in use but unzips in a flash to become a full-size tote. Fabricated from a rugged, coated canvas material, the bag can be printed with custom graphics on either the front of the wallet or the tote with a 2.5-by-2.5-inch or 9-by-8-inch imprint, respectively. Heavy Metal
Metallic elements impart a sense of strength and stability. Unfortunately, they often cost a fortune to ship and dray. Not so with exhibit walls, reception desks, and product displays that are sheathed in the Glowing Metals collection of ultrathin, lightweight metal "skins" and laminates from Chemetal, a brand by The October Company Inc. Fabricated from high-pressure laminate and anodized aluminum and available in a number of standard or custom sizes, the line of 36 finishes includes everything from hammered bronze and champagne-colored brass to distressed aluminum mesh and rose gold. Geometric motifs are also available, including repeating patterns of embossed triangles and hemispheres in three head-turning hues. The Missing Link
Any exhibit manager who has wrestled with setting up a back wall made of banner stands knows what a struggle aligning these marketing mainstays can be. Thankfully, the Link Retractable Banner Stand from Post-Up Stand simplifies the process via a system of magnets that are located in the stands' end caps and top rails. The result is a flush back wall customized with your company's graphics and key messages. Up to seven 33.5-inch-wide units can be linked together to create a back wall that is 20 feet wide and nearly 8 feet tall. Plus, 6-, 8-, and 10-foot-wide packages are also available. Exhibitors have their choice of three banner materials, and optional accessories include LED rail-mounted lights, a coordinating podium, and custom carrying cases. Power Player
Whether you want to protect yourself from a power outage, get electricity to a hard-to-reach part of your booth, or find an alternative to noisy generators at an outdoor event, the Joule Case is a high-wattage battery system capable of powering a small exhibit for an entire day. Comprising stackable energy modules that allow exhibitors to customize the scale of their power supply, the Joule Case offers multiple AC and USB outlets and can be fully recharged in less than 2.5 hours via an integrated 200-watt charger. New to this year's models is a solar-charging system perfect for keeping power flowing during outdoor events. Contact: Joule Case LLC, Seattle, 208-866-8575, www.joulecase.com
