Visit Salt Lake’s Karen Staples Promoted to Managing Director of Sales, East Coast Office

SALT LAKE CITY – Karen Staples, CMP, CASE, was recently promoted by Visit Salt Lake (VSL) to the position of managing director, East Coast office. In her expanded role, she is responsible for booking all meeting and convention business in the Washington D.C. and northeast regions. Additionally, Karen will continue to serve as the NYPCMA chair through 2022. 
“I’m excited about putting my long-standing client relationships in D.C. and the northeast markets to good use,” said Staples. “Salt Lake is a rising star with a new world-class international airport, new bars and restaurants, and new hotels including the 700-room Hyatt Regency attached to the convention center.”
