Seattle Convention Center's best-in-the-business team of event professionals has been supporting the unique needs of exhibits and trade shows for 35 years. The Center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Seattle with ample parking and nearby public transportation. In January 2023, SCC opened the Summit, a new state-of-the-art convention center building. This addition (which achieved LEED Platinum Certification in 2024), propelled Seattle to be one of the only destinations with two convention center buildings located in its downtown center.
Summit nearly doubles the capacity of the Center, adding 573,770 sf of event space including 62 meeting rooms, a 58,000-square-foot column-free and divisible ballroom, 248,450 sf of exhibit space, 140,700 sf of naturally lit lobby space and the 14,000-square-foot outdoor Garden Terrace. Covering 1.5 million sf, Summit and the original Arch building, one and half blocks away, together create a campus built to usher in the future of meetings and conventions.
Together with the architecture and construction teams, SCC has brought forth two world-class buildings with the core values of sustainability, community, and meaningful connection that have been at the center of SCC's identity since 1988.
