The disruption of F2F events over the past couple of years is a subtle reminder that we are in times of constant change. Now is a really good time for all of us to rethink how we look at contracts and how we negotiate them. If we don't ask for it - how will we ever know if it would be accepted. Worst thing - they say no - best thing - they agree to our ask.

•	First and foremost - look at existing contracts - things have changed!

•	Top five things to look for in the contracts with venues/hotels

•	Compile that new list of questions you should be asking them

•	Have a strategy to negotiate out of a contract

Glenda is a member of the strategic events team for HP Inc. Brungardt joined HP in August of 1977 and has been in tradeshows and events for the past 33+ years. She is part of an HP-wide network of event marketing and technical professionals that focus on designing and creating end-to-end attendee-centric journeys while driving economies of scale to generate revenue, increase productivity, and help improve HP's marketing investment around tradeshows/events.
