Panic Button
Imagine being on a lively trade show floor or working at an event with a busy management team spread out across the venue. Now imagine someone asks an urgent question, and you don't have easy access to the person with the answer. It was with this scenario in mind, among others, that Shortcut Labs AB introduced its wearable Flic Button Wristband. The wristband holds the Flic Button in place so that team members can easily press it and alert each other when assistance is needed, streamlining communication by bypassing smart phones. Imagine the peace of mind that comes with knowing help is only the press of a button away. The wristbands come in translucent white and matte black. Mic Drop
ClearOne Inc. recently announced the debut of its Dialog 20 USB 2-channel wireless microphone system. This system, which is ideal for hybrid meetings that require both a presenter microphone and shared audience mic, works in spaces up to 2,500 square feet and features less than four millisecond of audio latency, which prevents a presenter from having to cope with the distraction of hearing an echo of their own voice. The system is easy to set up and offers a range of handheld, boundary, and gooseneck microphone options in addition to beltpack, headset, and lavalier mics. Bright Idea
Advanced Lighting Concepts LLC (dba Environmental Lights) recently announced the launch of its Dual- Mode Universal Dimming Drivers. These power supplies enable precise control of LED lighting, no matter the size or layout of an installation. The drivers allow users to easily toggle between constant voltage reduction output, which should be used for runs beyond 25 feet from the main power supply, and pulse width modulation output, which should be used for loads within 25 feet of the main power supply. Constant voltage reduction prevents voltage spikes, extending the life of LEDs by keeping them running at the coolest temperature possible and shining brighter for longer.
