Good for the Sole
Much is being said about the need for ensuring exhibits maintain clean surfaces when trade shows resume, with high-touch areas (e.g., countertops, touchscreens, etc.) and therefore hands getting the bulk of the attention. But there's another extremity capable of spreading germs in a more overlooked and insidious manner, a reality that prompted the release of the Hanz Trax Pro shoe sanitizing station. Fabricated from sturdy iron, stainless steel, and quartz glass, the Trax Pro features embedded UV-C lights to sterilize the bottoms of shoes. A mere six seconds atop the 2-inch-tall platform kills 99.9 percent of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens on the soles of attendees' shoes, virtually eliminating the chance that booth visitors track in any unwelcome guests. Cutting Edge
Crystal Display Systems Ltd.'s Halo LCD monitors take a page from the casino playbook and incorporate LED strips along their sides to add attention-grabbing lighting effects. Available in two sizes (23.8 and 27 inches) and with optional 10-point PCAP touch functionality, Halo monitors can be mounted in portrait and landscape orientation and feature 3mm-thick tempered glass for added strength and stability. The edge-mounted RBG LEDs can be operated by remote control to allow flexibility in choosing solid hues and programming color-chasing light shows with no hot spots or dark corners. Ideal for check-in, lead-gathering, and contest stations, Halo monitors are sure to have exhibitors hitting the jackpot. Frame of Mind
BeMatrix USA's line of modular b42 frames was created to meet the rising demand for social-distancing walls in retail, office, and event settings. Lighter and slimmer than the company's famed b62 system, the b42 line encompasses a standard version that accepts fabric and hard-panel infills on both sides, as well as a "mono" model that can be used with one panel that slides into the middle of the frame. Featuring a narrow, 42-millimeter-wide profile and a hard anodized finish, b42 frames come with numerous accessories, including sturdy baseplates, wheels for added mobility, and lighting connectors.
