Registration Opens for IBTM World 2024 in Barcelona

Registration has now opened for IBTM World 2024, which takes place from 19 – 21 November at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.

IBTM World is the leading global event for the business events and experiences industry. Designed by event planners, for event planners, IBTM World brings together over 12,000 exhibitors, buyers and attendees to do business, learn from inspirational speakers, and network with peers.

The theme for IBTM World 2024 is People. Power. Potential. Whether you're a corporate planner, an experience engineer, a tech supplier, or an association, everybody in events has one thing in common: The belief that what people need to succeed is other people.

Against a landscape in which rapid technological innovation is offering limitless potential for enhancing every aspect of the event experience, IBTM World empowers attendees with the most sophisticated digital tools that allow exhibitors and visitors to measure performance, collect leads, and make data-informed decisions to get the most out of their time at the event.

New features at IBTM World 2024 include:

Exceptional Experiences, a showcase of groundbreaking strategies to help in-house event professionals and marketeers create experiences that fuel business growth.
The Forum for Advocacy, the issue of advocacy within our industry has become a highly important topic in recent months, and this invitation-only gathering will bring together senior leaders, politicians, policymakers, industry associations and academics to amplify the existing conversation around advocacy issues.
Hotel Pavilion, new for this year, the Hotel Pavilion is a dedicated space for independent and small group hotel businesses to showcase their offer in an environment that has a luxury hotel feel and amenities.
A showstopping welcome party will take place on the first evening of the event, open to all attendees, to mark the 20th anniversary of IBTM World being hosted in Barcelona. Anniversary celebrations will also include regional artisanal pop-up stores, delicious tapas food-trucks and more on the show floor.

IBTM World’s 2023 edition was its most successful to date, with over 2,250 exhibitors from over 150 countries and more than 4,000 buyers in attendance and over 132,000 business connections made.

Further details of exactly what to expect from this year’s event will be released in the coming weeks, including celebrations to mark 20 years of the event - which has been running for 37 years this year – being hosted in the beautiful city of Barcelona.
