WS Display Announces New Hires and Promotions to Support Company Growth and Innovation

CARLSBAD, CA - WS Display, a leading display manufacturer and supplier, is pleased to announce the addition of two talented professionals to its team, as well as two internal promotions to its existing Sales division. These strategic hires reflect the company's commitment to expanding its capabilities and providing unparalleled service to its clients. Mike Morrison, Vice President of Sales An industry executive for over 20 years, he joined WS in the role of National Sales Director in 2016. Prior to that, he held sales management roles at BeMatrix, Moss and Octanorm USA. He resides in Metro Atlanta with his wife Angi, has two children and three grandchildren and one on the way! He is a graduate from Georgia Southern University and has a fairly extensive industry podcast history as a current Co-Host of a bi-weekly podcast with industry leader Todd Nall from the Facebook Group, “You Know You Work In Trade Shows When…” and was also a Co-Host with Exhibit City News Publisher Don Svehla on The Don and Mike Show and most recently with EXHIBITOR Group Owner Mark Johnson on EXHIBITOR Now. “This new role will be an exciting opportunity for both myself and WS Display as we strategically broaden our outreach with the addition of three new Regionals Sales Managers who will geographically help with the day to day sales efforts for our custom division. We are ready to get to work!” Morrison stated. Rick Moreno, Western US Regional Sales Manager Over 13 years of experience and a proven track record of success at WS Display, having advanced from a Customer Service Representative to Business Development Supervisor and now to Western US Regional Sales Manager. His journey highlights his dedication to continuous improvement and client-focused leadership. Rick's promotion to Western US Regional Sales Manager underscores his strategic vision and ability to drive growth. He is known for his positive outlook, proactive approach to problem-solving, and exceptional relationship-building skills, which have consistently delivered results. His colleagues respect Rick for his leadership qualities and ability to inspire teams towards achieving excellence. His promotion reflects both his personal achievements and the team’s commitment to cultivating talent and delivering exceptional service across the Western US region. Roger Freeman, Midwest/Northeast US Regional Manager A graduate of The University of Bridgeport, he brings a significant amount of experience from the Association sector as a Director of Sales at TMA Resources, an AMS company for nine years, and also Eastern Region Director of Sales role with Visit Fort Worth, a Convention and Visitors Bureau organization for ten years. He also carries a significant amount of General Contractor experience within the industry as well as affiliations with IAEE, PCMA, and SISO. His industry experience will be an added benefit to his role at WS. Vince Vaughn, Southeastern US Regional Manager Based in the Atlanta area, Vince brings a wealth of talent from the Labor side of the industry which will be invaluable to WS when speaking with clients about custom displays. His roles include Freight Operations, I&D Lead Carpenter, Warehouse Lead for Freeman, Project Management, and a union carpenter in New York for nine years. His skill set is very unique and will be strongly appreciated in the effort to move custom projects forward for WS Display. WS Display has experienced significant growth over the past year, driven by innovative product development and expanded market reach. The new team members will play a crucial role in promoting the custom lines of displays in the aluminum extrusion and SEG graphic categories as well as other custom product lines.
