eventPower Welcomes 60 New Virtual Clients
1/26/2021
“Pivot” — a term that has taken new meaning under the cloud that surrounds the novel Coronavirus pandemic. In business, as well as our personal lives, we all find ourselves in a series of “pivots” as we define a new normal. And pivot is exactly what eventPower did. While many event planning companies were forced to furlough staff or temporarily shut their doors due to COVID-19, eventPower was determined to beat the odds. Without losing a single employee, eventPower managed to grow their business and their staff in 2020. When in-person events were cancelled last year, eventPower initiated a journey to create a Virtual Event Experience that allowed their clients the ability to host virtual and hybrid events within one software solution backed by the powerful suite of conference planning tools that eventPower developed over a decade ago. Within weeks, eventPower supported a high-profile client pivoting from their previously planned in-person conference to deliver the company’s first fully virtual event. And that was just the beginning of the story. Since then, eventPower has welcomed over 60 new virtual clients including its newest additions: 1. American Hospital Association 2. American Meteorological Society 3. American Society of Military Comptrollers 4. American Translators Association 5. Association of American Law Schools 6. Association of Midwest Academic Anesthesia Chairs 7. Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians 8. California Cupa Forums 9. California Life Sciences Association 10. Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning 11. Endocrine Society 12. Evidence-Based School Counseling Conference 13. Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply 14. Hatching Results 15. Hearth, Barbecue & Patio Association 16. Maxar 17. National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (Civica Management) 18. National Investor Relations Institute 19. Society for Radiologists in Ultrasound 20. TMG 21. TechNet Cyber Conference 22. The University of South Florida 23. Windsor “We transformed our business model to produce virtual events by developing a software solution that supports networking opportunities, education content and a virtual exhibit hall — all the necessary components that surround an in-person event. Because of the technical aspects of virtual events, eventPower educates and provides consultation services to our clients. Our goal is to make the virtual experience seamless and dynamic,” said Laurie Powell, Vice President of Business Development. eventPower hosted over 50+ virtual events in 2020 and is poised to transition and host hybrid meetings in 2021. “We are extremely happy and appreciative to continue our partnerships with many new and long-standing clients,” said Laurie Powell. “With 2020 in the rearview mirror, we’re excited to celebrate our company’s 25th anniversary and continue our forward trajectory.” To learn more about eventPower’s Virtual Event Experience, please contact Laurie Powell at lpowell@eventPower.com or visit www.eventPower.com/Virtual-Events.
