Following a recent rebranding, Omnires Sp. Zo. o. saw the 2019 Warsaw Home show as an opportunity to burnish its refreshed image as a top-tier manufacturer of luxury bathroom basins, tubs, and faucets. To achieve that aspirational goal, the firm entrusted Smart Design Expo Sp. Zo. o. to craft an exhibit that reinforced its high-end positioning among attendees. The result was a serene, gallery-like design with matte-black "fins" around the perimeter. Looking like a modern Stonehenge, the sharply angled slabs allowed passersby glimpses of the stand's stately confines and, in the words of Exhibit Design Awards judges, "added interest while implying movement."
Shadow Play
Omnires Sp. Zo. o.'s exhibit utilized an intricate lighting design to elevate the company's offerings and create a seductive space. "We used bright spot lighting to emphasize the products," said Lukasz Zaremba, designer at Smart Design Expo Sp. Zo. o., "while the rest of the stand remained dim and obscure to lend the feeling of attending an exclusive gala."
The dimly lit interior featured complementing white and gray marbled flooring with bronze trim across the ceiling. Three showrooms displayed Omnires' classic and new products as individually lit art installations. Luxury bathtubs rested on elevated platforms, sink basins hung vertically on walls, and faucets sat atop cabinet-like kiosks. Behind several displays, large photographs depicted the products as focal points within opulent bathrooms.

But the crown jewel of the exhibit comprised a series of faucets in the center of the new-product showroom. A 6-by-7-foot rectangle of black marbled laminate flooring inset in the room's classical white floor defined the featured attraction where the faucets were arranged along one edge atop a bronze rectangular counter with a black countertop. Inspired by dripping water, 250 strands of delicate golden chains suspended from the ceiling created a pair of shimmering, semitranslucent curtains that wrapped around opposing corners of the centerpiece. The combination of ample, open floor space, artistically arranged elements, and tightly focused lighting contributed to a minimalist design that exuded both quiet sophistication and palatial elegance.
