ISE's 2024
Stand Design Award Winners Exhibitor Group was thrilled to return to Fira Barcelona this year for Integrated Systems Europe - the largest AV systems integration show in the world - to organize the ISE 2024 Stand Design Awards. This year's four size-based winners impressed our international panel of designers and exhibition-industry judges with foot-stopping designs that were daring and inspiring, often bringing thoughts of museum pieces to our jurors' minds. The finalist stands also revealed some trends worth keeping an eye on. Matte black finishes, monochromatic designs, fabric, and nods to sustainability were apparent in many of the top stands on the show floor. By Emily Olson
Owl Labs This was Owl Labs' first foray into the world of exhibitions and the organization leaned into its name by creating a skyscape judges praised for creating a draw that made everyone on the show floor happy. The stand's cloud lamps received high marks from our judges who also commented on its perfect design execution and use of eco-friendly materials. In the words of one judge, the booth was created with a "twinkle in the eye." BeMatrix BeMatrix raised an eye-catching, LED-driven city on the show floor, complete with details like street signs, street lamps, and even a bit of graffiti. Judges praised this stand for its innovative concept, calling it strong, compelling, and dynamic. Judges also were drawn to the booth's excellent use of storytelling and a reusable execution that is consistent with the company's products. Basalte Basalte opted to bring a muted stand to the show floor, allowing its products to take center stage. Judges praised the stand's minimalist look that allowed the products, which were flawlessly integrated into the design, to take center stage. Basalte earned high marks from judges for what they called a modern environment with a niche feel and an ambiance of exclusivity. In the words of one judge, "The use of greenery created an open space with a sense of welcoming." LG Electronics LG Electronics' central icon, a dynamic LED wall that shifted in time with the graphics displayed on it, appeared to be the most photographed installation on the show floor with crowds blocking the aisle to watch the display. One member of our juror pool went so far as to recognize the wall's artistry by referring to it as a sculpture. Our pool of jurors was impressed by the well-defined use of space, created to comfortably hold the large audience it expected. In the words of one judge, "The quality of the booth materials and the uniqueness of products is amazing."
