The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) just got even bigger with the completion of the $980 million West Hall, which added 600,000 square feet of exhibit space and 150,000 square feet of meeting space. The venue now comprises four main halls with more than 2.5 million square feet of dedicated exhibit space. With 225 meeting rooms and ceiling heights ranging from 25 to 42 feet, there's ample room for any event. And the completion of the $53 million underground "people-mover" makes zipping around the 200-acre campus a cinch. Located less than a mile from the Strip, the convention center is perfectly positioned for attendees who want to mix business with leisure.

WHERE TO SLEEP
Featuring nearly 150,000 hotel rooms, Las Vegas makes finding accommodations easy. The Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas Convention Center is a stone's throw from the LVCC, and there are plenty of resorts and casinos lining the Strip with rooms at any price point, from the Bellagio and Luxor to Planet Hollywood and The Venetian.

WHAT TO EAT
The LVCC features two sit-down restaurants, Lucky's and Aces, as well as food courts, concession stands, and Starbucks. Las Vegas hotels and casinos are known for their buffets, and the Wicked Spoon in The Cosmopolitan has something for everyone. For a great view of the city, Top of the World features group dining options and tasting menus.

HOW TO GET THERE
Located about 4 miles from McCarran International Airport and 0.7 miles from the Strip, the LVCC is close to all the action. An Uber or Lyft from the airport runs about $15, or you can grab a taxi for around $21. The LVCC is located on the Las Vegas Monorail route (www.lvmonorail.com). One-ride tickets are $5, and a 24-hour pass is $13. There is ample parking at or near the convention center.

The LVCC is GBAC STAR accredited.

Exhibitors must hand carry items from privately owned vehicles. The use of hand carts and dollies is not permitted.

Full-time employees of exhibiting companies may set up their own booths.

Exhibitors are responsible for removing trash during move-in and move-out periods.

Storing items behind exhibits or near electrical service is prohibited.

Food and beverage services are provided by Centerplate Catering.

Cox Communications is the LVCC's vendor for internet services.

FedEx Office has four locations at the LVCC and offers full-service printing and copying, computer workstation rentals, and more.

Regulations mandate that battery-operated smoke detectors be installed in covered and double-deck exhibits with footprints of more than 300 square feet.

Any upper-deck area to be occupied must have an approved floor plan with an engineering stamp registered in Nevada.

Drones must be approved by the venue and flown in a fully enclosed area.

Display-vehicle fuel tanks must be sealed to prevent vapors, and vehicle batteries must be disconnected.
