Asian Shows Offer Glimpse at Possible Future for Face-to-Face Marketing
Video Footage: Idea International Inc.
"We are in unprecedented times" is possibly the most common statement I've encountered recently, at least as an opener to emails. And with good reason – as trade shows (such as the Hunan Autoshow in Changsha, China; and the MBC Construction Fair in Seoul, South Korea) reopen, they provide a unique glimpse into what may very well be the future of face-to-face marketing... at least for the foreseeable future. There, thermal imaging cameras, external air intakes, touchless registration, mask requirements, and enhanced sanitation protocols are enabling the trade show industry to move forward with domestic events.
