Counter Intuitive
Lugging an exhibit counter around a convention center for use in a booth can be a hassle, but not when you use the C.air² pop-up display counter by Duo Display USA. The compact unit assembles to a size of 39 inches high, 38.5 inches long, and 12 inches deep in less than a minute. The completed counter includes a countertop, shelf, and a customizable fabric-graphic wrap for the front of the display for effortless branding. The aluminum structure and bamboo counter and shelf keep the entire C.air² system at a featherweight 19 pounds, and the product and its components fit compactly into a handled, lightweight carrying case for maximum portability from show to show. The unit can accommodate a second shelf for additional organization, and exterior graphics can be changed out in mere minutes. Contact: Duo Display USA, Chicago, 312-421-7755, www.duodisplay.com
Old-School Illumination
Sometimes it's the little things that score an exhibitor the most style points on the show floor, and there aren't many exhibit items smaller or more stylish than the new vintage-reproduction light bulbs from Super Bright LEDs Inc. The bulbs contain what appears to be an antique-style exposed filament, but they are crafted with energy-saving LEDs of one to eight watts that install in light fixtures with a traditional screw base. Shapes include round, candelabra, radio tube, and Edison-style, and bulbs are available with a variety of white color temperatures, depending on the hue of lighting you desire. Furthermore, you can choose either a gold smoke or clear finish to complement your exhibit's aesthetic. Bulbs are dimmable and offer a 360-degree beam pattern. A New Dimension
When you want to make your exhibit walls pop, few things can accomplish it better than 3-D wall surfaces. Now circles, squares, waves, pyramids, and a dozen more styles from Wall Dimension can add drama to your booth in minutes, as panels affix to walls using adhesive that is already applied and need only be pressed into place. The product comes in panels that are roughly 20 inches square and 1 millimeter thick, and they are crafted of weatherproof plastic that is flexible enough to bend and curve where it needs to. Exhibitors can hang lightweight items on the wall using adhesive or suspend heavier items by driving nails into the substrate below, and they can paint the surface or use the company's matte finish. Fascinating Finds
Keeping graphics, posters, and other exhibit materials organized and labeled can be a challenge, especially when they are rolled into tubes for safe storage. Now any bundle of materials can be labeled in seconds with the FastenWrite system by Fastenation Inc. The product features a tab with a wet/dry-erase surface that is laminated to a hook piece of hook-and-loop fastener, making the marking of something as easy as adding a piece of loop fastener to the item you want to label. Exhibit managers can use erasable markers to jot information onto the tabs, which can be custom designed in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. The erasable-surface tabs can also be affixed to the end of FastenWrite straps that will gently cinch rolled materials without denting them, enabling you to identify the bundle without unrolling it. Building Blocks
Most people remember constructing imaginative designs out of Lego blocks as a kid, and now that creativity can continue right onto the show floor with EverBlock, a modular building-block system for grownups. Exactly like the child's toy but on a large scale, the blocks are available in 12 different colors and come in standard 12-, 6-, and 3-inch sizes with 12-inch finishing caps. Add connector clips, hanging clips, and reinforcement rods for support if needed, as well as metal base plates and feet to give designs a finished appearance. EverBlocks require no tools for assembly, and they can be taken apart and reconfigured an endless number of times to suit various footprints and design requirements. The blocks are crafted of high-impact polypropylene co-polymer with ultraviolet inhibitors that make the product durable enough for use outdoors.
