Montgomery Group Appoints Sanjeev Khaira as Chief Growth Officer for Milestone 130th Year

Global independent exhibition organiser Montgomery Group, which in 2025 is marking its 130th year, has announced the appointment of Sanjeev Khaira as Chief Growth Officer. This significant addition to the Montgomery Group leadership team comes as the company continues an ambitious phase of growth.

Khaira brings an impressive track record of strategic leadership and business development within the global events industry. Having previously led a number of high growth business in the UK and overseas, this included establishing and rapidly scaling divisions at UBM/Informa’s operations in India and Turkey, Sanjeev’s expertise extends to mergers and acquisitions, this included a role as Managing Director of M&A for UBM EMEA.

More recently, he joined Arc as a founding team member, where he played a pivotal role in building a $100 million revenue business in just two years. Most recently he drove Business Development at Capital Events (ADNEC), Sanjeev has been instrumental in driving growth through organic launches, joint ventures and driving best practice across the business.

Commenting on the appointment Montgomery Group Chairman and CEO Damion Angus said: “We have lots planned for our 130th year, and I am delighted to welcome Sanjeev to the Montgomery Group family at this exciting time for our global business. His wealth of experience and dynamic leadership make him the ideal choice to steer our growth strategy as we embark on this new chapter.”

As Chief Growth Officer, Sanjeev will focus on advancing Montgomery Group’s strategic initiatives, identifying new market opportunities, and strengthening partnerships to drive innovation and success across its diverse portfolio of events.
