OWENSBORO, KY – The Oak View Group team in Owensboro, KY is thrilled to share the news of recent promotions among our talented team members.

Josh Gann has been promoted to Director of Sales and Sponsorships for the Owensboro Convention Center and Owensboro Sportscenter. With over 20 years of sales experience, Gann has successfully led the sales team since 2021. After securing a record 19 conventions for the convention center and being a key role in the venue operating over $140,000 in the black for the last fiscal year, Gann is excited to embrace the additional responsibilities of sponsorship sales. In addition, Josh enjoys fitness, golf, and time with family and friends.

Kaitlyn Alvey has transitioned to the role of Sales Manager at the Owensboro Convention Center. A valued team member since 2021, she now specializes in booking events such as corporate gatherings and weddings. “Whether you're a bride or meeting planner, I'm excited for this new opportunity to connect with you and help turn your event vision into reality!” Kaitlyn commented. She also enjoys decorating her home, thrifting, and spending time with her fiancé and two cats Duck and Dolly.

Shelby Christensen is now the Marketing and Sales Manager, focusing primarily on RiverPark Center. She joined the Owensboro Convention Center in 2022 and played a pivotal role in launching the venue’s TikTok presence. “From my very first day with Oak View Group, I’ve eagerly anticipated growing within the company. I’m excited to share that this moment has arrived as I transition to a new department and new buildings!” stated Shelby. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and cats.
