Caitlyn Correia is Proud to Announce BlueHive Exhibits as a Women-Owned Business

WORCESTER, MA – BlueHive Exhibits of Worcester, MA has named Caitlyn Correia as its next CEO continuing her family’s trade show legacy into its third generation and first generation as a women-owned and run business.

Correia succeeds her father, Paul Hanlon, who previously served as CEO of BlueHive. Paul will continue to be part of the BlueHive family as a consultant but wants his future focus on being a grandfather to Caitlyn’s two young children.

After graduating with an MBA from Endicott College in 2012, Correia has held a variety of positions across the company including roles in the shop, accounting, account management, operations, and marketing.

Since becoming President in 2021, Correia’s vision has been set on the company’s future growth as well as the trade show industry at large. This includes overseeing the growth and development of employees, maintaining strategic vendor relationships, and ensuring our service, production quality, and creative energy we provide our clients is top-notch. The belief that great employees paired with the best vendor partnerships will provide clients with the best service possible has carried the family business for the past 19 years.

“I’m honored that my employees trust and have the confidence in me to take this next step as their CEO.” says, Correia. “I’m incredibly excited about our future as an organization and my promise is to continue to work hard every day for my employees.”

“There’s no greater pleasure, as a dad, to be able to pass on to my daughter all that I have labored.” states Hanlon. “With great confidence I know she’ll continue to take the organization to the next level.”

In August 2023, Correia oversaw the opening of BlueHive’s second location, a 30,000 square foot fabrication and storage facility in Las Vegas, Nevada to better serve its clients from coast to coast, reducing shipping costs and improving efficiencies.

In addition, she has served as an active member of the EDPA (Experiential Designers and Producers Association), the leading non-profit organization in the trade show industry, having held the position of Vice President (2022) for the Northeast chapter.

Correia was also a member (2022-2024) of YPO New England (Young Presidents Organization), the global leadership community of extraordinary chief executives focused on helping extraordinary leaders grow stronger together to improve lives, businesses and the world.

Going forward Correia’s responsibilities will continue to include keeping BlueHive relevant, competitive, ethically, and financially responsible, as well as supporting innovation and growth in BlueHive’s services and capabilities.
