IFA Announces Keynote Speakers, Conference Programs

BERLIN - IFA today announced keynote speakers and conference programs that combine history, culture, entertainment, business, product innovations and launches, creativity and imagination as the world's largest trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances celebrates its 100th anniversary and begins the next century in technology.

The keynotes include:

Friday, 6 September

Kristian Costa-Zahn, head of content at ARD Kultur.
Mark Barrocas, CEO of Shark Ninja.

Saturday, 7 September

Nicole Scherzinger, singer, actress and philanthropist, formerly from the pop group "The Pussycat Dolls."
Gizem Celik, content creator and podcaster at “More than Gossip.”
Nour Idelbi, founder of SafeSpace.
David Reger, CEO and founder of NEURA Robotics GmbH.

Sunday, 8 September

Florian Diedrich, content creator and podcaster at DoktorFroid, Gentle Nerds UG.
Ergün Güler, CEO of VESTEL.

Monday, 9 September

Dr Jan Kleibrink, chief growth officer at Handelsblatt Media Group and managing director at Handelsblatt Research Institute.

Scherzinger's keynote is a fireside chat about the transformation of celebrity, content creation, philanthropy and advocacy by technology and social media platforms in music and entertainment.

SharkNinja and Vestel plan product introductions.
NEURA Robotics demonstrates robotics that revolutionize the job market and free humanity from monotonous and dangerous tasks.
Handelsblatt plans a deep dive into AI.
DoktorFroid will podcast live.
Celik discusses the politics of gossip, clickbait and Tiktoks.
ARD Kultur discusses the evolution of new broadcasting formats and content for younger audiences.

More than 120 speakers will explore AI, sustainability, connectivity, mobility, fitness, digital health and content creation at IFA.

With experts, researchers, creators, futurists and industry leaders, the program ranges from 3D printed costumes from Marvel's "Black Panther" that win Academy Awards, to flying cars, women leading tech startups, the resurgence of vinyl in electronic music, cooking demos, creative cities, fake news, recycling, DJ master classes, a live digital performance by the Berlin Philharmonic -- and more.
