Exhibitor Group's Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) Program Now Accepting Applications for its Annual Joe Ries Educational Grant

ROCHESTER MN – In honor of Joe Ries, the gentleman who put his heart into the well-being of the Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) program for over 20 years as its Academic Advisor, Exhibitor Group is pleased to award an annual educational grant in Joe's name. Joe was passionate about maintaining the integrity of the program and cared deeply for its leaders, candidates and graduates. He was a strong encourager for all. 
The Joe Ries Educational Grant is awarded to one new CTSM candidate each year. This grant covers the full cost of certification, including session fees, exam registration, and portfolio registration.
This grant is available for new enrollees in the CTSM program who have all, or most, of their sessions left to complete. The Joe Ries Educational Grant winner may complete their sessions at EXHIBITORLIVE, EXHIBITORFastTrak conferences, and online via EXHIBITOR eTrak, starting with EXHIBITORLIVE in Louisville, April 23-26, 2023, which will feature 100 sessions and workshops. Entries for the 3rd Annual Joe Ries Educational Grant must be received by Monday, January 23, 2023, and the winner will be selected and notified by January 27. The CTSM designation is awarded by EXHIBITOR in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach and reflects adherence to the highest educational standards of trade show and event marketing. The CTSM program covers a comprehensive set of knowledge and skills for trade show and corporate event marketers. Currently there are more than 4,000 candidates enrolled in the program. The CTSM core curriculum includes 23 required sessions and 7.5 hours of elective sessions for a total 42 hours of classroom study. Topics include: Measurement & Analytics, Planning & Execution, Marketing & Sales, Management & Leadership, Global Exhibit Marketing, Exhibits, Experiences & Events, and Personal & Career. Upon completion of the coursework, candidates take a comprehensive exam and write an applied learning portfolio.
