Access TCA’s Stephen Ross Wins FIT Star Award

At its annual Capstone Event, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) awarded its prestigious Star Award to Stephen Ross, Vice President, Executive Creative Director at Access TCA. The award recognized his participation not only in the mentorship program, supported by EDPA but also his advisory role on curriculum development for the graduate program.  Christina Lyons, Assistant Professor and Chairperson, FIT Graduate Exhibition and Experience Design Program, said, “Stephen has been a supporter of our program for many years— he has mentored many students and has cultivated extremely successful and productive relationships with each of them. Each year he creates and conducts special lectures or workshops for our students at the EXHIBITORLIVE conference and here at FIT, whether the topic is Design Thinking or Playing Nicely in the Sandbox with your Coworkers. He always connects with the students and makes an enormous effort to ensure they are comfortable engaging in dialogue. There have been years when he stayed long after his talks, answering student questions and lending his expertise. He is always there for us with any assistance we may need. And I’m happy to announce that he is on our newly formed advisory board. I was so honored to give Stephan this award at Capstone!”
