Sara Blayne Named General Manager of the Lynnwood Convention Center

SMG, the world's leader in private management of public facilities, has announced the appointment of Sara Blayne, CMP as General Manager of the Lynnwood Convention Center. Blayne's appointment was effective Monday, April 20th. She will direct all aspects of the convention center's operation and will work with the Lynnwood Public Facilities District, owner of the convention center, to provide direction to grow the success of the building. Previously, Blayne held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at the Lynnwood Convention Center and has spent 20 years in the hospitality and events industry. 
"The Lynnwood Public Facilities District supports SMG's appointment of Sara Blayne as the General Manager of the Lynnwood Convention Center," said Grant Dull, Executive Director of the Lynnwood PFD. "The District is confident of her skill and ability to lead and manage convention center operations, and we look forward to working with her."
