Explore the dynamic relationship between sustainability and workforce development in the exhibitions and events sector. Join industry experts as they delve into the impact of fostering a skilled and adaptable workforce through Career and Technical Education (CTE), the Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program, and comprehensive Entrepreneurial and Leadership Training. Discover how these strategic initiatives can pave the way for the industry's enduring success and resilience. After the session, participants will be able to:
 •  Discuss the current state of the workforce and the bridge between education and business through Career and Technical Education (CTE).
 •  Describe O*Net Codes, how they are established, and the role they play in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and subsequent funding.
 •  Analyze the Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program and its benefits.
 •  Explain how to enroll in the Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program

After more than 30 years in the trade show industry, Ms. Palker has dedicated herself to improving the industry she serves. Laura is the Co-Founder/President of the Exhibitions and Events Workforce Development Federation, a nonprofit organization formed to foster collaboration between the many verticals of the Exhibitions and Events industry. The Federation is dedicated to building a network of Artisans, Masters, and Professionals connecting to advocate, support, and develop the Exhibitions and Events Industry Workforce.

Jacqueline Beaulieu, HMCC, Poretta & Orr, Director, Strategic Marketing & Client Engagement, Exhibitions and Events Workforce Development Federation, Vice Chair, has over 25 years of healthcare exhibit and event marketing experience. Formerly an executive at HCEA (Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association), Jackie now leads strategic marketing and client engagement efforts. As a trainer for MPI's healthcare meeting compliance and member of MPI's Medical Meeting Advisory Board, she's committed to excellence through her involvement and contributions.

Later, as lead facilitator at the Carpenter's International Training Facility in Las Vegas, he impacted many with expertise in leadership and emotional intelligence. At 4 Tree Solutions, Odie passionately advances personal leadership and workplace culture improvement in the construction industry, demonstrating a commitment to empowering others.

With a decade of expertise, Michael has been instrumental in guiding multiple organizations to sponsorship success. In the last two years, he pioneered the inception of new trades -Bench Jeweler Production & Fitness Instructor. Michael's proficiency in policies and procedures ensures seamless program development and upkeep, meeting all related instructional requisites for sustained success.
