It all started in 1979 when a client, who would not settle for mediocrity, approached our founder and master cabinetmaker, Franc Tivadar. His attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship led to the founding of EDE, a trend-setting Chicago trade show company.
Today, Franc’s son, Greg Tivadar, leads the team as Creative Director and President. Franc still helps out (we can’t keep him out of the shop) as we test the limits of what’s possible with our clients every day.
Over the last 10 years, EDE has evolved from a traditional exhibit house. At our origins, we offered exhibit design, fabrication, installation & dismantle, shipping & logistics, show service ordering and management, and storage like many others.
To help clients with the norms of today's times, we now also offer graphic design, video production, interactive development, email marketing, Audio Visual, Lighting, Sound Design and Execution, and giveaway ideation and fulfillment.
Our ultimate goal for our evolution is to support our clients in every way they need. Allowing them to focus on the other 800 tasks on their to-do list and leave every element of the trade show experience to EDE.
