Not unlike a living-room ensemble, an exhibit lounge speaks volumes about your brand. Sure, both types of spaces offer functional trappings, such as tables, seating, and the occasional accessory or table lamp. But they also relay your personality and aesthetic preferences, not to mention the amount of comfort you wish to offer visitors and the level of formality you expect. Wooden Change a Thing

Real-estate firm Sagamore Development Co. wanted to highlight the opportunities available in the Port Covington area of Baltimore via a rustic yet contemporary space. As such, its lounge comprised mid-century chairs, restful leather sofas, and a reclaimed-wood bar.

Seeing Red

This luscious red room for children's products provider Munchkin Inc. doubled as both a lounge and a cafe. While the space offered several sets of functional bistro tables and stools, O-shaped lounge chairs took center stage and fostered a vibe that kids would no doubt call "crazy cool."

Calm, Cool, and Protected

At the Heimtextil show, the word of the day was "serene" for Kadeco Sonnenschutzsysteme GmbH, a provider of sun-protection systems. Positioned under one of Kadeco's awnings, the lounge featured rectangular stools, benches, and tables, all finished in slick, white materials.

Clean Scene

Wind power is literally a breath of fresh air in today's carbon-filled world. Not surprisingly, then, this second-floor lounge at the Windpower show was the epitome of a clean environment, thanks to bright-white furnishings paired with a splash of sky-blue accents.

Color Cacophony

Salesforce.com Germany GmbH concocted the perfect marriage of color, form, and style for its booth at CeBit. The maroon, yellow, and gray seating offered plush places to talk shop, while bold carpet featuring dramatic hues and an energetic pattern lured attendees to the space.

True Colors

DBS Bank Ltd.'s lounge incorporated a power play of shape and color. The space offered pentagon-shaped stools in matte red and black alongside glossy, circular options. Paired with round tables, the seating rested on white flooring inset with a Plexiglas-topped faux-turf path.
