A Real Catch
Regardless of the topic, finding ways to keep audience members engaged during a speaker presentation, breakout session, or panel discussion can often be a challenge. Originally launched in 2013, the Catchbox, a 7-inch, tossable, brandable cube with an internal wireless microphone capable of transmitting up to 328 feet, adds an element of playfulness and interactivity to these events. The new and improved Catchbox Plus boasts two additional features: An internal motion sensor automatically shuts the microphone off when, for example, the unit is tossed by a keynote speaker to an audience member during a Q&A session, and the lithium-ion battery can be recharged via USB or an optional wireless charger for up to 14 hours of continual use. Hip to be Square
The Charisma SEG 3D line from Testrite Visual Products Inc. is perfect for adding dimension to a deeper island exhibit, utilizing overhead square footage, facilitating traffic flow, designating product areas, and turning marketing images into can't-miss focal points. Available in 2-foot, 3-foot, and 4-foot square models, as well as 6-foot-tall rectangular towers with the same choice of three dimensions, Charisma units comprise lightweight aluminum extrusions that quickly screw together to form a frame that accepts silicone-edge graphics on all six sides. Exhibitors can then place the sturdy, freestanding elements anywhere in their booths. Custom sizes are also available, and exhibitors can request frames equipped with eye bolts, thereby allowing the units to be "flown" (i.e., rigged) for even greater visual impact. Floor Me
Experienced exhibitors know that what's underfoot can make just as much of an impact as eye-level elements and help create an immersive, transportive environment. So make the most of your exhibit's "fifth wall" with Display Flooring from Logo Mats LLC. These 5-by-10-foot panels are less than .25 inches thick and feature a dye-sublimated, full-bleed print on polyester fabric backed by nitrile rubber. Available in seven highly detailed, photo-realistic imprints, including marble, grass, barn board, and rustic wood, Display Flooring is easy to clean and simple to transport, dray, and install; plus, it can be supplemented with .5-inch-thick Comfort foam – much to the relief of booth staffers and weary showgoers.
