Located just minutes from the South Carolina shoreline, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center makes it easy to combine business and pleasure. The venue features 250,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space – including a 100,800-square-foot, column-free exhibit hall complete with 35-foot-high ceilings – making it one of the largest trade show facilities on the East Coast. The MBCC also boasts an outdoor, 30,000-square-foot events plaza, where planners can host welcome receptions and press conferences in the fresh air. What's more, the MBCC is in the middle of the Myrtle Beach Entertainment District, close to restaurants, shopping, and hotel accommodations.

WHERE TO SLEEP
The connected Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel is a practical choice for attendees, exhibitors, and planners alike. Featuring 400 guest rooms and complimentary Wi-Fi, the four-star hotel is affordable and convenient. There are also several beach resorts within walking distance, including the all-suite Ocean 22 by Hilton Grand Vacations.

WHAT TO EAT
From Polish cuisine to soul food, restaurants near the MBCC have you covered. New York Prime, located about half a mile from the convention center, is a traditional steakhouse perfect for large-group dining. For fresh seafood in a more casual atmosphere, head to Captain George's seafood buffet, which is just a few miles from the MBCC.

HOW TO GET THERE
The convention center is located three miles from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Coast RTA public transit (www.ridecoastrta.com) offers one-way fares that run between $1.50 and $2. Uber drivers also pick up and drop off at the airport, and a fare to the MBCC runs roughly $13 to $17 for UberX. Cab fare during heavy traffic times averages $20. There are 2,250 parking spots at the MBCC, and the daily fee is $5.

Audiovisual equipment and services at the MBCC are exclusively provided by Dobil Laboratories Inc.

The Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel is the preferred food and beverage supplier.

The MBCC requires electric and plumbing services be provided by its in-house team of professionals. Compressed air, water, and drains can be arranged. Hookups are in the floor of the exhibit hall, giving exhibitors easy access and leaving aisles unobstructed.

For staging needs, the MBCC works with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.

Fiber-optic, high-speed wireless internet access is available throughout all common areas, including the exhibit hall. Configuration is completed by MBCC staff and can include Ethernet and point-to-point and/or multipoint networks.

The MBCC is staffed by security personnel 24/7, and video surveillance systems monitor both interior and exterior function spaces. Exhibitors and planners can hire additional personnel to serve as event ushers, ticket takers, and floor/door security.

South Carolina is a right-to-work state, and there are no requirements regarding the use of union labor.
