EuroShop 2023: Gate To The Future
At this year's EuroShop, the system manufacturer OCTANORM from Filderstadt, together with ICT AG and EXPOMOBIL GmbH, are presenting themselves as problem solvers of the future. Under the motto "Gate To The Future", the focus is on the combination of innovation and sustainability. "We are looking forward to intensive talks, lively discussions and a creative exchange. Regardless of whether it is in the customer sector or in system construction, for us the future clearly lies in sustainable connections," says Benjamin Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM.

OCTAlux
At EuroShop 2023, OCTANORM is introducing a new product called OCTAlux. An illuminated extrusion that enhances any OCTANORM system. "Our new OCTAlux system combines the brilliance of the full color spectrum with the stability of an aluminium extrusion," explains Hans Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM. The square extrusions equipped with LEDs feature the OCTANORM system groove and can therefore be combined with several systems like Maxima, OCTAlumina, OCTAwall pro and OCTAwall 40, but also with the beam extrusions from the manufacturer. They allow the creation of luminous uprights, lines of light, and outlines of three-dimensional shapes throughout the booth. Users are as free in their choice of shapes as they are in their choice of colors: OCTAlux is available in cool white, warm white or with RGB LEDs. "Exciting color changes can be created through remote control and the effect of an exhibition stand can be changed at the touch of a button, for example, from an elegant white to an energetic orange," explains Claudio Mazza, product manager at OCTANORM, "In order to be able to guarantee an even illumination over several meters, a special surface structure was used for the LED cover." The system is ideal for exhibitions, shops and events.

OCTAlux

OCTAwall pro
OCTAwall pro is a frame system that has been specially adapted for applications with LED video walls. The extrusion depth of 80 mm provides the required stability, while the use of aluminium as a material ensures a low weight. "The standardized frame dimensions allow for the installation of LED panels from a wide range of manufacturers. Therefore, our customers do not have to commit to one service provider. We want to make our systems as flexible as possible," says Hans Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM. The adapters of the LED panels are fixed in the system groove by means of a 90° turn. This ensures a secure hold and a seamless overall appearance. The cabling disappears into a specially designed cavity between the connected frames. The system frames themselves are attached to each other by quick connectors, which in turn saves valuable time. In addition to LED video walls or panels, fabrics can also be used for system cladding. They are seamlessly stretched over the individual frames and corner uprights for uninterrupted graphics. The system is compatible with other OCTANORM systems such as Maxima, OCTAwall custom or OCTAlumina and opens up numerous new design possibilities. "Our system groove guarantees an easy and trouble-free connection to our complete product portfolio. Thanks to the double groove, even two OCTAwall 40 frames can be seamlessly connected to OCTAwall pro," explains Hans Bruder. With an extrusion depth of 80 mm, OCTAwall pro is suitable for exhibition stand construction, shopfitting and, thanks to the LED video wall solution, particularly for the events sector.

Maxima
OCTANORM was already presenting large-scale LED video walls during the last EuroShop. This year, too, but with an impressive 3D effect: "We want to show visitors what is possible and provide creative food for thought. With the right content, completely new worlds can be created. This effect is enhanced by our LED walls standing freely in the room," explains Benjamin Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM. The substructure consists of Maxima and OCTAuniversal uprights. LED adapters are screwed onto the back of the LED panels and hooked into the keyholes of the upright or into the system groove. This allows the use of LED panels from different manufacturers. "It is very important to us that our customers can continue to work with LED panels they already have in stock, or with their regular media technology partner," explains Hans Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM. By purchasing individual OCTAuniversal supports, numerous features can be added to the classic Maxima.

OSPI Network
At a world-leading exhibition such as EuroShop, it is possible to make specific contacts reaching far beyond your own country. Under the motto "Designed here - built there", more than 120 OCTANORM Service Partners International are already working together in over 43 countries around the globe. They support customers in their projects from planning to the handover - also across national borders. Regardless of whether it involves technology, design or country-specific know-how, the team can always rely on a shared pool of knowledge and experience. "In addition to the team concept, sustainability is our top priority. As a network, we manage to save up to 65% in CO2 emissions on a project," says Benjamin Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM. With partners spread all over the world, material transports and staff flights can be reduced to a minimum and exhibition booths can be realized sustainably on a global scale.

Online Shop
With the new OCTANORM online shop for partners and the expo.shop for german end customers, the system manufacturer enables shopping around the clock. The product portfolio is wide and ranges from exhibition construction systems, furniture and tools to flooring for a successful brand presentation. To make it easier for newcomers to enter the world of trade shows, complete exhibition booth sets including individual fabric graphics are available. For professionals, however, a comprehensive extrusion navigator is provided. "Customers can plan their exhibition appearance from the comfort of their own homes and call up prices and availability online. If there are any questions, our Germany-wide partner network is always happy to offer help and advice," explains Joachim Kopf, Head of Digital Innovations at OCTANORM.

OCTAlumina Light Door
The OCTAlumina family gets a new addition in the form of the OL 1295 light door with an extrusion depth of 120 mm, which makes it possible to realize a room with the OCTAlumina 120 series. The door element is mounted between two frames, is fully illuminated and can be used for DIN left/right. "Many of our customers already have OCTAlumina light frames in their inventory. Now they have the additional option of building entire rooms from these individual frames," explains Benjamin Bruder, CEO of OCTANORM.

Wallwasher
The wallwasher M 1497-H can now also be suspended from the ceiling as a hanging light. For this purpose, several luminous elements can be connected with each other. The housing contains 16 durable high-power LEDs with a neutral light color of 5700 Kelvin. The wallwasher is illuminating equally and without any shadow a surface with a width of 1000 mm and a height of 2500 mm with 3600 lm. When used as a wallwasher, the bracket is swiveled into the system groove for mounting.
