Marc and Mim Goldberg Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

Last week, exhibit-industry veterans Marc and Mim Goldberg joined editor Travis Stanton for an EXHIBITORInsight Series webinar, where they were surprised with the 2021 EXHIBITOR Legends Lifetime Achievement Award. The honor, which has only been bestowed upon two other individuals (Dick Swandby, founder of Exhibit Surveys Inc. in 2014, and Jack McEntee, founder of I&D Inc. in 2015) honors significant contributions to the trade show and events industry.  After 40 years in face-to-face marketing, Marc and Mim Goldberg announced their retirement in late 2020. The dynamic duo has been teaching educational workshops at EXHIBITORLIVE since 1989, and they have been an invaluable asset to FastTrak, eTrak, and the Certified Trade Show Marketer certification program. Their many years in the trade show trenches have provided the couple with an unmatched grasp of event-marketing basics and an ability to enlighten exhibiting rookies and experts alike.
Marc Goldberg founded Marketech360 in 1985, which continues to specialize in performance improvement through training and measurement. He authored “Small Doesn’t Mean Second Rate,” “The Future of Healthcare Exhibiting is Learning,” “Strategic Trade Show Success,” and “Tips from SCORE – Small Business Advice.” Marc also created the first exhibiting measurement software, Measurement Made Easy. His partner in crime, Mim Goldberg, offers a wealth of experience due to years spent as an educator, a co-owner of Marketech360, and a faculty member at EXHIBITORLIVE. She has trained staffers representing everything from Fortune 100 companies to entrepreneurial startups, providing the skills and information that enable clients to improve their results. “Marc and Mim have made a difference for so many trade show and event marketing professionals over the past 32 years.
