Allcal Selected as Event Management Solution for Kitsunekon 2018

Allcal Events is excited to announce that it has been selected as the event management platform for eighth annual Kitsunekon (July 20-22, 2018) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The weekend-long anime convention attracts around 3,500 guests each year and offers over 120 events.

The integrated web version of the calendar will serve as Kitsunekon’s primary scheduling platform. This year’s events include panels and discussions, photo ops with anime stars, cosplay meetups, interactive games, and more. Several special guests will attend including DC Douglas, known for his work on Resident Evil, Transformers: Rescue Bots, Z Nation, Sharknado 2, The Tom and Jerry Show, and Star Trek: Enterprise, as well as Ian Sinclair, known for a long list of voice credits including Borderlands and Dragon Ball Z.

Fans and convention-goers will be able to connect with one another through Allcal’s chat function and receive real-time updates should any last minute changes occur. “We decided to use Allcal to improve our communication with the attendees,” says Brittany Huss, Co-Con Director at Kitsunekon. “This will also help us track demographics to determine which panels are the most popular. We loved what we saw at Project Anime Los Angeles with the breakdown of information, panels, and the overall interaction we could have with attendees.”
