HP Introduces HP PVC-free Durable Smooth Wall Paper

HP proves that the digital arts industry still has the ability to surprise and invent with the introduction of a unique, first-of-its-kind customizable wallcovering. HP PVC-free Durable Smooth Wall Paper is the only product in the industry that is Type II compliant after being printed with HP Latex Inks¹ with no need for lamination. This product was developed for use in commercial and residential environments that are subject to wear and tear such as hotels, apartment and office buildings, schools, residences, and more. Unlike similar products, HP’s new wall paper provides durability without the need for a protective top coat, helping to save time and money.

Everyone has been very impressed with the durability. Having Type II durability is extremely important. Our customers really like not having to liquid laminate, as liquid laminates often cause wall papers to shrink and make the wall paper more glossy which customers don’t like.”
