The annual All-Star Awards honor exhibit managers and corporate event planners who have developed innovative solutions that have dramatically improved their companies' programs. Awards are presented to industry leaders who have each faced a specific problem or challenge, implemented an innovative solution, and achieved measurable, numeric results.

Trade show exhibit managers and corporate event managers are eligible. Previous All-Star Award winners are also eligible if their nominated projects have never received an EXHIBITOR award. Self and peer nominations are accepted, and agencies are encouraged to submit entries on behalf of their clients. There is no cost to enter the competition.
NOTE: Agency employees (such as exhibit-house account executives and show-management personnel) are ineligible.

Award winners will be notified by Oct. 31, 2019, and will be featured in one of EXHIBITOR's winter issues. Winners will also receive a free one-day pass to EXHIBITORLIVE 2020. |

Marcia Deem, CTSM

Marcia Deem, CTSM, is the events marketing manager at Relias Inc. In her previous role at Perq LLC, she contributed more than three times the expected return on investment for events. She also currently serves as the Community Relations VP on the American Marketing Association (AMA ) Indy board and the Events Chair for the Agile Marketing Indy board. She received the MeetingsNet's 2018 Changemaker recognition for creating an event marketing program from the ground up with an eye for training and transparency. A previous All-Star Awards recipient, she also served as a juror for EXHIBITOR Magazine's Corporate Event Awards.
Chris LaRoy

Chris LaRoy supports the Industry Events and Trade Shows team at Cox Automotive Inc. This team is responsible for cultivating and maintaining key industry relationships as well as strategy and activation at industry trade shows and conferences. Previously, LaRoy joined Autotrader Inc. in 2013 and leveraged more than 10 years of marketing experience to drive innovation and enhance the client experience. Prior to his work at Autotrader, he was a marketing manager at Momentum, where he supported United Parcel Service Inc. and its college sports strategy and activation. He has also worked with Jack Morton Worldwide to support the experiential team at General Motors Co. and its respective dealer groups. LaRoy earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. He is also a 2017 All-Star Award winner.

At Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc., Steven Marchese solely manages more than 40 trade shows and corporate events annually. He currently serves on the exhibitor advisory councils of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Thoracic Society (ATS), and Digestive Disease Week (DDW). Marchese has been on the faculty of EXHIBITORLIVE and EXHIBITORFastTrak and is a CTSM portfolio advisor. He has also served on the editorial advisory board of EXHIBITOR magazine.

Annette McClure, CTSM, CSEP, has more than 20 years of exhibiting experience with Nationwide Children's Hospital, where she is responsible for developing and continuously improving the hospital's trade show and events program at national conferences. She's a holds a Gold Level Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) designation and serves as a portfolio advisor for CTSM candidates. In addition, McClure is a Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP), conferred by the International Live Events Association (ILEA), as well as an ILEA Esprit Award and ILEA Ohio WOW! Award recipient.

Vanessa Schultz leads the Population Genomics global community-engagement strategy for Illumina Inc., a leader in genomics. With more than 15 years of event-marketing experience, Schultz is responsible for driving cross-functional collaborations to build and execute the Population Genomics team's aggregated global events strategy, internal and external communications, and management of global key opinion leader relationships. She received her CTSM Gold Level Certification in 2014 and holds a BA in International Business Marketing from San Diego State University.
Susan Shuttleworth

Susan Shuttleworth has more than 20 years of exhibition-industry experience, most recently overseeing TransCore's integrated-marketing programs in transportation-business segments for industries including electronic toll collection, airports, homeland security, and electronic vehicle registration. Typically, Shuttleworth is responsible for more than 130 annual transportation-industry shows. She was a member of EXHIBITOR Magazine's Editorial Advisory Board and has previously won several Sizzle Awards.
Melanie Swanson, CTSM Diamond Level, CMP, MBA

Melanie Swanson has managed trade shows for more than 25 years, and she earned an EXHIBITOR Magazine All-Star Award in 2018. Swanson was one of the first CTSM graduates to achieve Diamond-level status and has helped 30 people earn their CTSM designation through the mentorship program. She serves on the EXHIBITOR Magazine Editorial Advisory Board and the Experiential Designers & Producers Association's Exhibitor Advisory Committee.
Dana Tilghman, CTSM Diamond Level, CMP

With more than 20 years of experience in the trade show and events industry, Dana L. Tilghman, CTSM Diamond Level, CMP, is the senior trade show and events planner for Minitab Inc. She holds a Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) certification and is one of only a handful of individuals to achieve the CTSM Diamond, the highest certification level in the CTSM program. Tilghman also holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. She is actively involved in the CTSM program and is a speaker at various industry events.

Complete the online form.
Step 3: Summary/Visuals
Submit the written summary (in Word format) and any visuals via Dropbox. (You must use Dropbox.com, as opposed to your company's preferred file-transfer service.)
Prior to submission, place the summary and visuals in one folder and label it with the award abbreviation and the nominee's name. For example, your folder might be titled "All Stars, Bob Smith."
Share this folder with larmstrong@exhibitormagazine.com, and ensure that it remains accessible through December 2019.
