New Visitor Management System at EuroShop 2011


A new visitor management system will be implemented at EuroShop, The Global Retail Trade Fair, to be held from February 26 – March 2, 2011, in Düsseldorf, Germany. Attendees can purchase their entrance passes at reduced rates online in advance of the show at www.euroshop-tradefair.com as in the past, but now visitors can benefit from several advantages: The new eTicket can be printed at home and can still be bought online during the trade fair to allow for last-minute planning. With an anticipated 100,000 visitors, the eTicket will also help to reduce long waiting times at the EuroShop entrances. Onsite, the eTicket will be converted into a visitor pass within just a few seconds at the entrance turnstiles, allowing the attendees more time to experience the trade fair. The eTicket also allows free use of all public transportation within the Rhine-Ruhr regional network (VRR) of Düsseldorf on all days of EuroShop 2011 to and from the show.

Online eTickets cost Euro 35 each for a 1-day pass, Euro 55 each for a 2-day pass, and Euro 110 each for a 5-day pass. Tickets can also be purchased on show site at the regular rates.

At EuroShop 2011, more than 1,900 exhibitors from 52 countries will showcase their products and technologies on 1.14 million square feet of net exhibit space in 15 halls to more than 100,000 trade visitors from the global retail sector.
