Today marked our last day of covering the show floor, and we certainly had mixed emotions. While it's always nice to get back home, we'll miss the show's energy and activities — not to mention the beer, bratwurst, and new friends — when we finally plunk down in our office chairs and get back to work. Nevertheless, we had some business to attend to before we could pack our bags and hit the road, or the skies, as it were.

Our last day started on a high note, as we awarded trophies to the winners of our EuroShop Awards. Winners were as follows:

Judges lauded many of the winners for their “excellent capabilities demonstrations,” “clean graphics,” and “overall attention to detail.” EXHIBITOR editor Travis Stanton presented winners with their trophies during a quick photo op.

After handing out our last trophy, snapping that last shot, and toasting that last bier, we finally packed up our cameras and computers and headed back to the hotel to prepare for our trip home. While we'll miss perusing the stunning exhibits and inventive displays, we're also looking forward to writing about our fantastic finds!
