Did You Know?
Remember that salary surveys don't really measure what you're worth... they only measure your salary against what others are making.
Interpreting the Data
This survey reports the average salaries for all respondents in aggregate as well as average salaries for individual job titles. To provide the most useful information possible, we separate the data into precise segments. This results in some cells with very few respondents. Salary averages for cells with few respondents should be viewed with caution. For that reason, the number of respondents is reported in each cell.
EXHIBITOR Magazine's 2017 Salary Survey was conducted by TriMax Direct Marketing Research via an email survey invitation, which generated 795 total responses. The final analyzed number of responses was 596, screening out incompletes and responses from suppliers or those with no responsibility for their organizations' trade shows or corporate events. The sample achieves a +/- 3.5-percent margin of error at a 95-percent confidence interval.
