EXHIBITORLIVE
Buyer's Choice Awards
And the Winners Are...
Six 2016 New Product Showcase entries earned coveted Buyers Choice Awards at EXIHBITORLIVE, held February 28 – March 3 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Winners were chosen by a panel of attendee judges from a pool of nearly 60 new products all making their U.S. trade show debuts at EXHIBITORLIVE. This year's winners represent the latest and greatest innovations for the exhibition and event industry.

CurvTouch Kiosk
Curved monitor screens are all the rage because of their improved viewing quality, but curved touchscreens are almost unheard of – until now. The CurvTouch Kiosk wraps the viewing area around users and provides touch technology for interactive displays. The base kiosk unit is 7 feet tall, 31 inches wide, and 15 inches deep, though the product is configurable in a variety of other sizes. Surfaces can be branded, and custom finishes may be chosen. Exhibitry.com can design presentations for plug-and-play ease, or clients may purchase the unit and supply their own central processor for operating the display. "This product really wowed us all," said one Buyers Choice Awards judge, noting that the unit's curved profile offers booth visitors a more personal and immersive interaction than traditional touchscreen kiosks. Interaction Q
While trade show attendees may prefer to receive exhibitor information digitally, what they typically don't like is having to download apps onto their cellphones in order to do so. But with Interaction Q, exhibitors can make entire mobile information hubs available to attendees without requiring them to download anything, a trait Buyers Choice Awards judges hailed as "extraordinarily user friendly." Booth visitors merely need to text a keyword to an exhibitor's Interaction Q short code number, which then triggers an automated text containing a link to the portal. Exhibitors can design the mobile hub in a variety of ways to best disseminate information. The product captures and preserves lead info from log ins, and exhibitors can reuse the contact information to send messages, alerts, etc. to attendees even after the show floor closes. X-Ray Visualizer Product Demo Kiosk
If your product demos are starting to feel a little bland, amp up the excitement with a station that is half product demo and half magic trick. The X-Ray Visualizer Product Demonstration Kiosk displays your product (or a scale model of it) with an interactive screen that appears to hover over top. Users can slide that screen back and forth in front of the product, and as they do, the innards of whatever is behind it appear as if the screen is actually X-raying it thanks to programming done by Exhibitry.com. The touchscreen allows users to virtually manipulate interior components for a deeper understanding, and the technology can be scaled for footprints as small as a tabletop display or as large as a massive video wall. Buyers Choice Awards judges called this product "innovative" and "intriguing," noting that the kiosk "allows companies to showcase products' inner components, which are often difficult to display inside an exhibit." HoloTube Interactive Holographic Display
Now you can incorporate holographic technology into your exhibit using the new HoloTube Interactive Holographic Display. Using the display, attendees can manipulate imagery, videos, animations, and product simulations on a nearby touchscreen control panel, spinning, opening, and even manipulating a holographic representation of your product. The Holographic Booth Host uses a semi-enclosed chamber as the backdrop for holographic images, which can feature an interactive hologram of a person that answers questions and demonstrates products. And thanks to HoloTube's plug-and-play programing, the product is remarkably simple to use. According to one Buyers Choice Awards judge, "This is a cool, compelling new product that could lure attendees into your space with the power of a tractor beam." TouchFree Interactor
Buyers Choice Awards judges applauded the TouchFree Interactor for its sleek, contemporary design, as well as its ability to add a futuristic element to any interactive display via gesture-recognition technology. The device detects minute hand movements, allowing users to control the material on any size screen with little more than the flick of a wrist. The USB-powered sensor, which is 24-by-4-by-4 inches, sits on a surface between the screen and the user, and employs infrared trackers to translate hand gestures 200 times per second. The result is the precise movement of a virtual-reality, 3-D hand on the screen that moves at the whim of the person in front of the sensor. Colorful LED lights emitted from the acrylic sensor bar create dramatic illumination that enhances the in-booth attendee experience, and the material displayed on the screen can include anything from video or 3-D animations to simulated product displays. FreemanOnline App
Managing an exhibiting program is a time-intensive task that involves countless details. But that task has been simplified with the introduction of the new FreemanOnline app, which Buyers Choice Awards judges claim makes exhibit managers' lives easier. Exhibitors can use the app to order show services, remit payments, track shipments, read facility rules, etc. And instead of standing in line to complete move-out forms at a show's end, users can submit all the documentation needed through the interface, getting them back on the road as quickly as possible. A summary feature saves data from previous shows and puts everything at exhibit managers' fingertips. Contact: Freeman, Dallas, 214-445-1000, www.freemanco.com
