Meetings Industry Council of Colorado's 23rd Annual Serving Up Hope Luncheon to Set New Attendance Record
On Tuesday, November 1, 2016, thirteen Colorado hospitality organizations will join forces for the 23rd Annual Serving Up Hope Luncheon to benefit Food Bank of the Rockies’ Denver’s Table program. Over 800 industry professionals from around the state will convene at the Denver Mart.
Chefs from local hotels and restaurants will provide mouthwatering appetizers, exquisite entrées and delectable desserts in a communicable area encouraging expansive sampling and a unique networking environment. Attendees will vote as well as a selected panel of judges to award prizes in four categories (appetizer/salad, entrée, dessert, and presentation) to the best of the best.
Each of the thirteen organizations compete in a friendly contest to see who can raise the most funds and donated canned goods for the Food Bank, split into two categories; Associations with 126 members and above and 125 members and below.
“The Rocky Mountain Global Business Travel Association (RMGBTA) came through with the win in 2015 for the most food donated for an Association above 125 members, and the Christian Meetings & Conventions Association (CMCA) continues their impressive streak of wins by again claiming the win last year. It will be fun to see who wins the 2016 awards for most food donated.”
“2015 was a record breaking year for the Serving Up Hope Luncheon, with 769 industry professionals in attendance, and over 16,000 meals were donated day-of by attendees, in addition to the $29,000 raised through the Luncheon benefiting the Food Bank of the Rockies.”
Tickets are SOLD OUT for the 2016 Serving Up Hope Luncheon, setting a new attendance record for the event!
