AMR International Presents Upcoming Event in London to Help Event Organisers Define Data and Digital Strategies
In response to industry needs, AMR International – the strategy partner to the global events industry – will present a unique event specifically for senior event and exhibition organisers titled “The Data and Digital Strategy Events Symposium” in London on 30 November and 1 December 2016.
AMR International’s Executive Chairman, Denzil Rankine says, “In the past year we’ve had numerous discussions with event organisers about how technology is rapidly changing the event experience and the expectations of event participants. We have also found many organisers are unsure how to adopt new technologies in a way that generates meaningful revenue streams.
Organisers are continuing to rely on traditional business models but these won’t keep delivering healthy profits in the long term. We’re now at the point where every organiser has to define its data and digital strategy. It’s time to start embracing new opportunities, or risk being left behind.”

As one of the symposium’s keynote speakers, Mr. Newman will share his 30 years of industry experience having led the multichannel operations for leading brands such as Burberry, Intersport, Pentland Brands (Speedo, Berghaus), Harrods and Ted Baker.
The symposium will also bring together senior executives in digital from the event and exhibition industry to connect, share best practice, and work together to develop practical strategies that will help event organisers maintain their competitive edge.
Day one of the symposium will be a closed-door roundtable (invitation only) for a select group of the most senior executives responsible for the development of data and digital strategies within the leading exhibition organisers in the U.K. and Europe.
Day two will be open to a wider audience – the participants of day one, along with the executives responsible for digital, technology, marketing, strategy etc., within the main event organising companies, plus tech suppliers and venues.
