Green Venue Report Closes Annual Survey on the Trends of Convention & Exhibition Center Sustainability Worldwide
Green Venue Report, a leading group of event industry professionals committed to the advancement of venue sustainability, is excited to announce the closure of the third annual survey to compare sustainability practices and performance metrics across convention and exhibition centers, as well as a final list of venues to be featured in the 2016 Green Venue Report.
The 2016 Green Venue Report will offer these results in a comprehensive overview of convention centers around the world, building off the momentum of the 2014 and 2015 reports. The report compares green performance over a wide-range of areas, including: energy efficiency, waste management, water usage, food and beverage services, cleaning practices, staff involvement, communications and certifications. The report, to be published October 2016, will compile information from 44 participating convention and exhibition centers from 11 countries, representing over 44 million attendees and over 68 million square feet (roughly 6 million square meters) of exhibition space.
