Strategic Event Roadmap Planning and Evaluation
Every year Dell Inc. activates many events around the globe. This session will analyze how Dell's corporate events team navigates a complex web of business-unit and regional priorities to influence smarter, data-driven decision making and event-performance evaluation. Through examples of Dell's best practices, you will learn to:
•  Use consistent metrics to evaluate event performance
•  Provide a strategic rationale for event selection and investment decisions
•  Build strong, collaborative relationships within a complex organization

CTSM Candidates with 5 or more years of experience may take this session in place of certain five-digit required sessions, with prior approval.



FACULTY:
Dax Callner
Dax Callner is the Chief Strategy Officer at GES Events, leading a practice that specializes in physical, digital and social media experience development, measurement & analytics. Callner has over 20 years of experience developing experiential marketing programs for some of the world's leading brands, including P&G, American Express, GE, eBay, MasterCard, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Pitney Bowes, Motorola, HP, Kraft, Bloomberg, the U.S. Census Bureau, Johnson & Jonson, Dell, JPMorgan, General Mills and Nestle.

Greg Schneider
Greg Schneider was previously the Director of Strategy for Dell's Global Events team and now leads Employee Engagement organization in the Chief Customer Office. Greg specializes in global event roadmap development, partner strategy, financials and measurement. He has more than 20 years of experience as a leader in the technology space, ranging from customer service, partner marketing, to merchandising and planning. He is passionate about business development and building a more efficient customer-focused approach.
