Each year, Exhibit Surveys Inc., a market-research firm in Red Bank, NJ, asks trade show attendees from a wide range of industries the following question: “What three exhibits attracted your attention the most?”
Respondents to the online and U.S. mail surveys are expected to name memorable exhibits on their own. (No exhibitor lists are provided.) Exhibit Surveys then asks them to choose from a list of reasons why they found those exhibits memorable, including product interest, product demonstration, well-known company, exhibit color/design, exhibit personnel, stage/theater presentations, product literature, giveaways, and others.
This year, Exhibit Surveys polled attendees from 34 different shows, with an average response rate of 10 to 20 percent.
Here are the top 10 best-remembered exhibits from the survey in two categories: shows smaller than 200,000 square feet and shows larger than 200,000 square feet. We have also provided a list of all of the shows surveyed. |
